We do our best to implement as many Ideas as we can. Our Product team will evaluate all submitted ideas in a timely manner and will disposition each into one of the following categories: will integrate into the product roadmap, further research is needed, unlikely to implement.

Include "tzinfo" and "tzinfo-data" Ruby gems in chef client

It would be fantastic to include the "tzinfo" and "tzinfo-data" Ruby gems into the Chef client for customers that have to deal with timezone changes.

This would greatly help us with the air-gapped implementation so we don't have to load those gems from a local place, instead we could just use the resource.

For enterprise level customers and really customers that deal with multiple time zones this addition would be helpful since it is easier to use this gem than to write ways around this solution.
