We do our best to implement as many Ideas as we can. Our Product team will evaluate all submitted ideas in a timely manner and will disposition each into one of the following categories: will integrate into the product roadmap, further research is needed, unlikely to implement.

Native MacOS support in Habitat 

I would like to request that we add native MacOS support to Habitat. I feel this would need to include macOS native Habitat packages for InSpec and Chef-infra client as well as the Studio and Supervisor in support of an effortless pattern. This would also allow more options for newer product offerings such as Desktop

    Definitely have a couple customers who have asked for the functionally. Most are using apple servers for web app deployments. I will reach out to you internally with some names.

    I'm marking this as "likely to implement" since I expect that it's only a matter of time until we support MacOS packages.

    Outside of use for effortless patterns, are you hearing from customers that they want to package and deploy apps to MacOS devices with Hab?
