We do our best to implement as many Ideas as we can. Our Product team will evaluate all submitted ideas in a timely manner and will disposition each into one of the following categories: will integrate into the product roadmap, further research is needed, unlikely to implement.

--ssh-config file option for chef-run

As a Chef Workstation user,

I would like the ability to define a custom SSH config file as an option,

So that I can use templated SSH config files that don't live in ~/.ssh/config

This will allow our customers to template and auto-generate custom SSH config files that are environment/role specific, therefore allowing for more flexibility when wanting to "range" a group of hosts based on said node "location and function" .. Better, more robust and flexible orchestration abilities ..
