We believe that the best way to build software is to do it in close collaboration with the people who use it. We invite you to submit your ideas using the form below. Please be sure to include the problem for which you are solving and the benefits of implementing the idea.
We do our best to implement as many Ideas as we can. Our Product team will evaluate all submitted ideas in a timely manner and will disposition each into one of the following categories: will integrate into the product roadmap, further research is needed, unlikely to implement.
Thanks for collaborating with us!
When Automate UI is rendered on a mobile device (or, at least mobile devices with a relatively small screen like phones) it is pretty much unusable as it’s difficult to navigate. So I think it would be nice if the UX were optimized for mobile devices. Even if it means that the rendered page views contained only a subset of the features available when viewed on a desktop browser, I still think it would be nice.
There have been occasions where I am AFK but want to quickly check the status of a specific node on my phone and in order to do so (and make the UX actually navigable; i.e. without text overlapping itself or other such wonky renderings) I’ve been having to rotate my phone to landscape and then zoom out the browser view to as much as I can.
Not super high priority/impact as I assume that few folks want to check Automate on a mobile device but I still think it would be a nice feature-add. M
