We believe that the best way to build software is to do it in close collaboration with the people who use it. We invite you to submit your ideas using the form below. Please be sure to include the problem for which you are solving and the benefits of implementing the idea.
We do our best to implement as many Ideas as we can. Our Product team will evaluate all submitted ideas in a timely manner and will disposition each into one of the following categories: will integrate into the product roadmap, further research is needed, unlikely to implement.
Thanks for collaborating with us!
We need the chef/knife-ec-backup habitat package included in the Automate HA offline bundle aib
Based on what I'm seeing, it looks like the knife command is being provided by https://bldr.habitat.sh/#/pkgs/chef/automate-cs-nginx and it makes sense to add chef/knife-ec-backup and any other packages required to follow the Automate HA documentation for Chef Server included in that package's dependencies.
I don't think that's what is happening, no. I think what's happening is that it's difficult to find and make work the copy of knife-ec available in an Automate HA deployment (as part of the automate-cs-nginx package), and that rather, we should include it as common tooling for doing backup/restore in an easy-to-discover and easily-upgradeable place, since it's likely to be necessary for this type of topology in any migration scenario

@tom Are you saying that this command line doesn't work or fails?
