We believe that the best way to build software is to do it in close collaboration with the people who use it. We invite you to submit your ideas using the form below. Please be sure to include the problem for which you are solving and the benefits of implementing the idea.
We do our best to implement as many Ideas as we can. Our Product team will evaluate all submitted ideas in a timely manner and will disposition each into one of the following categories: will integrate into the product roadmap, further research is needed, unlikely to implement.
Thanks for collaborating with us!
Given the bug in the 1.6.416 release of
core/hab-sup I think that we should examine the code base for the various configuration options for hab-sup, and see if we can't find a way to setup error handling such that hab-sup can still stay online and keep running services, even if there's an error with the parameters passed to one of the supervisor options.
I'm not sure how feasible this is, but if it's possible to pump those errors into logs without the core hab-sup service dying, that could be really helpful in the future allowing customers to recover from issues in the supervisor they might find in live environments.
